PitchBoard is a startup influencer marketing platform and we are looking to quickly grow into a valuable SaaS business. We are seeking an Influencer Marketing Specialist to join us on a part time basis, with the role expected to evolve into a full time position early 2020. This role is a key hire at an important time where you will get the chance to grow with us and shape our future. You will be expected to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients and social media influencers. It is important that you possess the following traits:

  • Enjoy networking online and able to build strong relationships leveraging social media

  • Thick-skinned and persistent
  • Experience using online tools to optimize processes and maximize results

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sell influencers programmes and campaigns to clients by offering bespoke, highly strategic counsel and supporting with influencer identification
  • Strategic vision, able to demonstrate experience of decoding complicated briefs and translating into digitally driven ideas and delivery
  • Grow the community. You’ll build a database of contacts (e.g. bloggers, editors, influencers) and invite them onto our platform.
  • Cultural curiosity, with a deep and abiding interest in the patterns and trends that are shaping local culture and appreciation for what that means for BCW, clients, brands and consumers
  • Proactive and someone who jumps in to do what needs to be done and works as part of a team
  • Continuously experiment with more efficient ways to convert leads
  • Developing influencer engagement strategy and presenting to capitalise on new business opportunities
  • Participate in brainstorming and contribute to the overall development of content marketing initiatives and outreach strategy
  • Running digital marketing acquisition and retention campaigns across channels Google, Facebook, YouTube, Display, Instagram, and more

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Commercially aware, with an ability to capitalise on business opportunities
  • Brand strategy communications and social media experience
  • Social Media listening tools, including Sysomos, Brandwatch, Talkwalker as well as Influencer management tools
  • Proven strong project management skills and experience (budget, scope, time, risk & quality management) across large accounts and projects
  • Proven understanding of how to work with digital influencers to build ongoing relationships, generate buzz, and increase client share-of-voice
  • Experience with multi market programmes where consistency in influencer approach is preferable
  • At least two years experience in influencer marketing
